“Electro Maiko” is a study of the fascinating world of Maiko. Generally, the Maiko is a young gesha in

training. The Geisha is sophisticated and highly educated in the arts of song, dance, storytelling and

in elegant traditional Japanese style; however, the Maiko are young, colorful, and have more freedoms

of expression.

These paintings represent a snapshot of the the life and times of Maiko in the 21st century.

「エレクトロ舞妓」は、舞妓の魅力的な世界を研究した作品です。

一般に、舞妓は修行中の若い芸者です。

芸者は洗練されており、歌、踊り、物語の芸術、

そしてエレガントで伝統的な日本のスタイルにおいて高度な教育を受けています。

しかし、舞妓さんは若くて色彩豊かで、より表現の自由があります。

これらの絵画は、21 世紀の舞妓の人生と時代のスナップショットを表しています。
